The room had a bathroom on the second floor, so I only recommend it to people who can handle the spiral stairs. The sea view and nearby castle were nice, and the rooftop terrace was a real treat for morning and afternoon coffee. The old town location is something you have to like, and the evening walks are lovely. The espresso machine and kettle were there but the kitchen facilities were poorly equipped; there were no mugs or glasses, and only disposable plates and cutlery, which might be fine because you don’t have to wash them, haha.

Everything was perfect. The view from the room onto the main avenue and the sea is wonderful. Everything was clean, the linens and bath towels were new, and the housekeeping was excellent. Domenico was attentive, standing in front of the building to give us information and even helped us pay for the parking.

The location was excellent and the bed was comfortable. However, you had to climb 36 steps, 21 of them on a metal spiral staircase, to reach the room, which is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Another room was even higher, and the upper terrace—about which the host didn’t inform us—was even higher. The fridge made a lot of noise while running, which was very annoying at night. The water pump, not the cistern but the pump that supplies water to the system, made even more noise than the fridge, making it hard to sleep, especially when both noises overlapped. My advice to avoid all this is to unplug the fridge at night, never use the toilet cistern or any tap at night, and pray that no other guest does the same because the water pump is shared by all rooms and can be heard throughout the building.

Domenico was very friendly and welcoming. The room is simple yet comfortable, and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. I felt at home.
