After a 14‑hour drive with a tired family, this was the last thing we wanted. In panic, we called many hotels in Ambai and more in Tirunelveli, finally securing a room at a 3‑star place for a bomb. By the time I booked, drove down, and settled, it was 12 midnight. Horrendous experience. God forbid anyone else goes through this. My lesson learned: when you book, call the hotel to confirm. Let peace be with all of us.
