The accommodation itself is beautiful! It offers privacy, is well maintained, and the Indonesian breakfast is delicious, with staff as friendly as anywhere in Bali. I do think the location is too far. I’m not sure how far it really is from Ubud centre, but it feels quite remote. The listing says the villa is in Ubud, yet my driver told me it’s actually outside Ubud – somewhat misleading. Still, I enjoyed the villa!

The villa is new and very clean; we had ants the first night but the owner came the next morning to seal a small hole where they were coming through. The staff are lovely, very attentive and helpful. It’s a bit far from everything, but luckily there’s a nice little restaurant 5 minutes on foot that’s great in a lovely setting, and a second one 15 minutes on foot that’s excellent too.

It’s very beautiful and the staff are friendly. They let us check in later than their usual cut‑off because our flight was delayed, and someone stayed up until we arrived at the villa. The pool is beautiful and the scenery is lovely, just trees and birds singing.
