“Återvänder gärna”

Wonderful hosts who genuinely want guests to have a great stay, a lovely room that’s quiet and calm, homemade dinner and very good white wine. The dog and surroundings were absolutely fantastic. We went for a roughly 50‑minute evening and morning walk on a stunningly beautiful countryside route where the dog could mostly run free. If we ever return to the area, we’ll know where to stay overnight. The only suggestion: maybe add some cheese and/or ham to the breakfast, but what was offered tasted good and left us satisfied.

Kind welcome, a quiet, authentic village. Communication was only in Spanish, which isn’t always easy, but with the Spanish we knew we could manage our plans.

Everything – the treatment, the food, the atmosphere – was perfect; Mauri and her husband make you feel at home, always attentive if you need something, very close and kind, and their homemade food is excellent. Thanks for everything Mauri, we will come back.

“Como en casa”

The owners were very kind to us and even drew us some maps to visit the province of Burgos; it’s a rural hotel that feels like your own home, the food is prepared by the couple right before you eat, Mauri is endearing, and we had a great stay.

“Way over priced for value, would not recommend.”

The staff were pleasant enough, the room was clean, and the showers were good, but the location is quite isolated and there were no food options nearby (we had to drive to the next town), it was confusing to get in because no one was around when we arrived, the breakfast consisted of packaged bread, there was no air conditioning and sleeping with the windows open didn’t feel safe, and given the cost of the room it was not a good experience – definitely not worth the value, so I would not recommend this place.
