The staff were very communicative and the check‑in process was simple, but the property sits close to the freeway, which might bother light sleepers.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms had everything needed for our stay, but the facility felt outdated, though nothing was impossible to overlook.

The place was clean, though everything seemed linked together.

The hotel was immaculately clean and the location was great—everything in downtown Walnut Creek is within walking distance, and Noah’s Bagels across the street opens at 6am. I told the front desk I’d arrive at 5pm, but about 4pm I received a call saying that if I didn’t arrive by 5 I’d have to wait until 5:30 because he wouldn’t be available. That felt odd, especially since the website states check‑in is from 4–8:30 and 5pm is a common arrival time. I ended up getting there at 4:50, so there was no delay, but the request left a strange first impression.
