“No es un 4 estrellas”

The restaurant and food were very good, the staff were super attentive, and the spa doesn’t allow children and, because reservations are required, there’s no crowding. It’s not a four‑star hotel. The reservation says “2 hours of spa included,” but at reception you’re charged 25 lei per person to use the sauna. The “spa” consists only of an indoor pool with a few water jets and the sauna… so if I have to pay for the sauna separately, what does the two‑hour spa actually include? Just the pool? That’s a scam! The room was terrible: the toilet was broken, the bathroom literally flooded with every shower, the minibar was empty, the double bed was wedged between a wall and a hallway, leaving no space for a bedside table, and the double room had two small sheets instead of one. So many issues for a supposed four‑star hotel (it doesn’t even reach three).

“Recommended”

The check‑in process was easy, similar to most hotels. The room and facilities were tidy and clean, the location is central and about 1.5 km from the monastery, the dinner menu was excellent and priced as expected for a tourist town, and the breakfast buffet was very good with fresh food and good choices. The staff were efficient and polite. My only constructive comment is about the bed mattress—it was very hard.

“Se merită din plin!”

The location was welcoming and well‑maintained. The ladies were very friendly, helpful, and focused on making us feel comfortable. The rooms were clean, the food tasty. Very satisfied! I didn’t find anything wrong, so I liked everything.

It looks good only in photos. The location is communist, with a communist mentality, and the staff are unfriendly.
