The décor inside was very appealing, contemporary and full of little touches like a record player in the room and snack choices in the hallway fridge. There really wasn’t anything lacking and we were thrilled; the only minor note would be that a daily towel change would have been nice during our three‑night stay with a family of four.

I absolutely loved every bit of it! The self‑check‑in was a hit, the location on the Mississippi is gorgeous, and the rooms are detailed to perfection – the bed is insanely comfy, the art is spot‑on, the bathroom is stunning with an extra‑large shower, and the old woodwork and windows let in so much light. Snacks in the hall, morning scones, and yogurt were a nice touch. Thank you! We wanted a second night but the hotel was full, so we stayed at the Charmant instead. We were on the top floor with a view and patio, but the Hatchery felt more stylish and sophisticated. Such a soulful place! The only downside was not being able to stay a second night. I travel ten months a year and this hotel really stands out.
