“100% would recommend and go back”

I don't even know where to start, this hostel made my stay in Bukit Lawang very special. The reception/bar is a place where there's always something happening so it's easy to make friends. They can arrange treks and transport for you and are really flexible, I kept extending my stay and they were really nice to me. Everything is perfect

“The best place to stay in Bukit Lawang!!”

I highly recommend Thousands of Bottles! It was the perfect place to stay for my Bukit Lawang trip. As a solo traveler, coordinating a jungle trek, transportation, and everything in between felt really overwhelming, but Thousands of Bottles took care of everything and made the whole experience feel so easy. They coordinated a shared taxi from the airport, my stays at the hostel before and after my trek, my jungle trek itself, and my ride to Lake Toba afterward. I genuinely didn’t have to stress about anything! The owner is SO nice, incredibly helpful, and just such a fun person to hang out with. The location is right in the center of Bukit Lawang, and they have a great restaurant on site. The staff is the best, and coordinated my laundry after my trek. It’s also a popular hangout spot for locals, which made it really fun to meet and interact with people. I had such a great experience and would absolutely stay here again. I already want to go back! 💛. Nothing! It is great!

“Accueil chaleureux et guides au top !”

Thanks for the welcome and the advice! Ibo and all his friends are lovely and make you feel at ease. The single room and dorms are very comfortable. If you need anything, they’ll find a solution! :) The guides for the jungle trek were really lovely! Thank you to them.

The room was really nice, with a modern toilet and shower. I’m pretty sure there were bed bugs.

I loved everything about my stay here. The staff, the rooms and the hangout area, the location. Food was great as well. I had the best time of my life and made lifelong memories and friendships. Thank you also to our awesome guides (Selamat, Sandi, Poda and Ali) that helped creating the best jungle trek and took so good care of us. Everything was organized super well, from getting to Bukit Lawang to the jungle trek, up until leaving to continue my journey. Until next time ❤️
