The location was good and the breakfast fantastic, yet as a solo female who doesn’t speak Spanish, I felt uneasy on several occasions in this very male‑dominated hostel; the only volunteers were men, and they behaved oddly—inviting me to hang out, calling me names, and overall giving off a strange vibe.
