This hotel is indescribable. The location, the breakfast, the room, and the very kind staff. I was surprised on my birthday.

The hotel is excellent! The staff are super friendly, the rooms are nice, the pool is very pleasant and the food is tasty. Nothing is too much to ask from the kind people who work there. We definitely recommend staying here! The hotel is within walking distance of the night market. Everything was super!

The former residence of Prince Souvanna Phoum gives this hotel a unique, tranquil vibe, and the heritage touches show in every detail. A lush garden blocks out the surrounding noise, while the clean pool offers a cool, soothing escape. The hotel is completely plastic‑free, and although the rooms are a bit dark, they stay impeccably clean. Breakfast by the poolside is delicious—especially the eggs benedict, which they manage to make without any vinegar, and it tastes great! The staff are a highlight: always friendly with a warm smile, and Ms Kham at the spa is a confident, professional masseuse whom I used twice. The property sits on the main street, and the night market, town centre, shops, restaurants, and beautiful temples are all within walking distance. Free bicycles are available, but I chose a 10‑15 minute walk instead. There’s also a temple right next door for early‑morning almsgiving. I even found a wonderful book in my room drawer that guides you through Luang Prabang’s historical sights. I stayed five nights here and wholeheartedly recommend it. On the downside, be cautious when opening the sealed drinking water bottles in the room; I accidentally cut my fingers on the aluminium ribbon.
