I felt safe, which mattered for Moalboal, but I overlooked that the bathroom was shared.

The place is perfect! It's a 10‑minute walk to the bus stop, the room and showers were spotless, and the common areas—little picnic huts, coffee and water, greenery—were pleasant. Restaurants line the street, and a scooter ride of 10 minutes gets you to Moalboal’s highlights like the Sardines run and diving spots. Nothing to complain about.

The property is spacious and very clean, with a kitchen and plenty of seating. Coffee and water are free all the time, and there are many nearby eateries. The staff were friendly. However, the location is far from the beach, and the real kicker is that the bathroom isn’t in the room; it’s one of three shared bathrooms outside, each with a single entrance marked with the room number. I was in room three, and this should have been clarified when booking.
