Ryan's Bay Hotel

“Nice hotel for my week in Mwanza - Spacious suites, nice padel court, gym and pool.”

I got upgraded to a lovely suite! A very spacious sitting area, bathroom and sleeping areas. The room was furthest from the nearby construction, so I didn’t hear the early‑morning drilling unlike my colleagues. Loved the pool and gym too. Walkable to banks, Bonasera restaurant which had amazing food and cocktails, and there is Bolt or other taxis for a short ride to Rock City Mall. Wifi was dodgy sometimes.

Everything was fine except the bathroom shower – the water kept leaking from its cubicle into the bedroom.

The food was tasty, but the surrounding area was really dirty.

The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are spacious and well‑arranged, and they were clean; the beds were good. Breakfast was a bit plain, it’s close to an industrial area, and the internet was spotty and hard to get.

“Very good location worth booking”

The rooms are clean, airy, and get cleaned daily; most staff are polite, friendly, and helpful, though a few were not, which is normal. The pool is nice. The food could have been better – it was mediocre, OK, edible but nothing special. Breakfast was good, and the evening curries were fine.
