The host lady was kind and informed us in advance about important details. The accommodation is in a good spot, close to everything that mattered to us. From the roof window, you could see Diósgyőri Castle.

The courtyard is pretty and spacious, with a view of the castle, and the location is central; the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the linens pleasant. However, there are a lot of stairs, and storage space in the bathroom is limited (no extra shelves or cabinets). The bathroom mirror is large, but the lighting could be better, and the lower blue shades couldn’t be brushed.

The place was crowded with everyone using black hair products, the bathroom was dusty, and the toilet wasn’t the cleanest. The kettle still had something inside, so it wasn’t rinsed. The pool water was muddy and dirty.

The beds were comfortable, and the location was good. The host was friendly and helpful. Although the price included unlimited use of the pool and sauna, we turned on the sauna at 9 pm on the day we arrived, thinking we didn’t want to heat it to 40 °C. An older woman from the apartment next to the hotel started speaking to us in a very old‑fashioned style, telling us to put out the fire immediately because she hadn’t slept for days due to guests smoking. She said, “let’s go home and do it there.” We know the host can’t do that, but she was quicker to act than we were, and she ruined the first night of our vacation. Another issue was that there were no utensils, so we had to buy everything at the convenience store, and we had to bring our own toilet paper. The soap dispenser at the sink was almost empty. I don’t usually write reviews about such things, but here many things left a lot to be desired.
