Only thing that worked was the location. The experience was awful: my family and I arrived at the agreed time and the apartment wasn’t ready, so we waited 3 hours for it to be unlocked. The bathroom had several issues, the heating didn’t work properly (see the photos), and the owner wanted us to leave early because he’d rented the same unit to someone else. The owner is not trustworthy.

The location is the only good thing, so I gave it 2 just for that. The manager was unhelpful and never answered my request to check in after the specified time. The place was very dirty, with stained floors and sheets. I asked the manager for clean sheets and he completely ignored me. He reached out when we were leaving to ask where the keys were (he had put them where he said) and after I listed all the problems and suggested a little cleaning, he asked me to give a 10‑star review in exchange for a free night. The price was low for Montmartre, so expectations were low, but at least decent clean sheets would have been nice.

“Une honte !!! Juste une honte”

The place. Everything! The filth was unacceptable. I was in the taxi when the guy explicitly told me to give 10 and that he would offer me a free night on my next visit, even though he said the apartment was “basic.” When I arrived, I was shocked by how dirty it was: sticky floor, grime everywhere, dusty, sheets that hadn't been changed and smelled bad, toilets with used toilet paper. When I texted the guy, his reply was astonishing: “I told you it was basic,” “I’ll give you a free night next time,” “fault of the cleaner.” I don’t know how many texts it took before he told me not to leave a review and offered nights. I left as soon as I arrived. He still charged me everything! By the way, I was with my two daughters.
