The staff were fantastic, and it was a bonus that a very nice driver picked me up from the airport at no extra charge; the room was fine and the pool was very clean. There were three top‑class restaurants—Portuguese, Timorese, and Chinese—and an excellent coffee shop a couple of hundred metres away, so the whole experience was a pleasure. The only let‑down was breakfast, which was served at the Chinese restaurant next door, which I’m not sure is affiliated with the hotel; strangely, the evening meals at that restaurant were good!
