“It is a very good hotel to explore Hitoyoshi and surroundings”
The hotel’s décor is beautiful, simple, and elegant, the staff are very friendly, and the dinner is excellent, though there was no espresso coffee.

The reception was warm; we arrived on a wet bike and they showed us a dry spot to store our bikes and helped us dry off. Nothing negative.

Most of the staff were foreigners, which surprised me, but they were polite and the service was very good. No negative points.

Breakfast was stunning with a very Japanese layout, offering plenty of variety and an engaging experience; the onsen was very nice and peaceful overlooking the river. The beds felt a bit stiff, which seems standard in Japan. The staff were friendly, but I was surprised that most were not Japanese; there was a slight confusion at check‑in, likely a language barrier, even though a relative spoke fluent Japanese and they couldn’t understand.
