Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel

The hotel felt solid overall, its location was great and the bar/dining area with sea views looked nice even though we never used it. The room turned out to be much smaller than I expected, so it didn’t feel like good value for money, and there was a strange lack of plugs; any provided items like a fan and kettle had to sit on a narrow ledge, which seemed odd.

“Lovely.”

The location was ideal, the atmosphere lovely, and the staff all wonderful. Staying solo here made me feel very at home and comfortable.

“Extremely expensive for such a poor room. No facilities in room. Terrible showroom Dirty. Old and tiny. Only 2 plug”

This was one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The bedroom itself was the problem.
