Sea Glow - Tangalle

The rooms and bathroom were very clean, all the equipment was present, the large beds were comfortable, and the grounds were well maintained. Truly a perfect and spotless hotel; it’s clear the owners take good care of it. The Wi‑Fi was a bit weak.

“Really really really great place in Tangalle”

Very close to Marakolliya beach, which is beautiful with few tourists… so the location is perfect! The room is big, the bathroom is big, the bed is big and comfortable. A lovely yard, I spent a wonderful time there. I wish I could stay longer.

“Цудоўнае жыллё ў ціхім месцы”

A quiet spot far from noisy roads, but close to the ocean and the beach (10 minutes on foot). The room was bright and clean, the bed very comfortable, and there was a cozy terrace by the window. Breakfast can be ordered at a reasonable price. Nearby there are many different cafés with tasty food. Occasionally the Wi‑Fi didn’t work.

“Great value and service!”

I was genuinely cared for by the hosts at Sea Glow; Tharuka and his wife answered every request, and the receptionist Premadasa stayed at the gate 24‑7, which was reassuring. The room was tidy and cozy, the bathroom showers were excellent, and a kettle was available for hot drinks. Upstairs there was a lovely eat‑in kitchen with beautiful garden views, and I also enjoyed Tharuka’s wife’s homemade meals—delicious, healthy lunches on a few days. When I asked for a cooking lesson, they gladly came to the property and taught me, which I found very enjoyable. Overall, the value for money was great, and I highly recommend it. The only improvement would be to add a desk and chair in the room, as the side table is a bit low.

Modern, clean rooms, a nice house with a garden, good breakfast. A bit far from the beach, but a scooter makes it fine.
