Everything looks tidy, good beds and a clean room with air‑conditioning. Good breakfast, friendly owners, a shed for bikes, and private parking.

The apartment was spacious, clean, fully equipped, with a nice location as a base for cycling and walking. The garden offered a lovely view and seating. The building itself looks simple and the view from the apartment overlooks a parking lot. The tinkering of the scooters at the accommodation was occasionally a bit noisy.

The small scale of the hotel was very pleasant. It is located quietly and easy to park. The calm and wide view from the back garden, where you could sit, was wonderfully relaxing. The shower was fine. The only downside was that the décor was too strongly expressed; I love colors, light hues, but the interior felt a bit dark, black‑and‑white, which is more a matter of personal taste. Overall it was an okay room, and it was actually closer to the center of Mechelen than I had expected.
