The owners kept everything running smoothly during our stay and even recommended a local tour guide for our excursions. There was a Music Madness event, and they left a set of earphones on our door so we wouldn’t miss anything. We love walking everywhere; Angie showed us a shortcut trail and we felt safe walking late at night with our phone flashlights. The locals were very helpful if we miscalculated our steps, and they’re always looking out for us. I can’t say enough about how genuine Simon and Angie are; their daily presence shows how caring they are. They made sure we had the best time in Moalboal. We love them! ♥️ I’m also proud that these eco‑friendly lodges and practices exist in the Philippines. I feel blessed to share the same climate action and social responsibility with these people. Nothing negative.
The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Meeting them and the dogs was a delight, and the lodge was beautiful—a peaceful place to call home. They had games in the hut that were fun to play at night. I would 100 % recommend booking with this eco lodge; we were sad to cut our stay short because of family, but I would definitely rebook again 🙂 Nothing negative—everything was perfect.

I appreciated that the hotel sits outside the main party zone, giving it a peaceful, natural vibe where I could find my peace of mind. We rented a motorcycle from the company partnered with the hotel, and the service was quick and efficient—they delivered the bike to us and picked it up exactly when we requested. The hosts were lovely, unobtrusive, and made our holiday pleasant and nice—exactly what we wanted. Thank you for creating such a beautiful spot; it’s worth visiting if you prefer quiet and not too far from the main town. The only drawback is the Wi‑Fi, which works only about 50% of the time and is slow when it does work.

The outdoor bathroom and shower were gorgeous, warm, and lovely. The traditional cottage had a private hammock outside the room. There was no air conditioning, but that’s understandable for an eco lodge. It’s easy enough to walk into town, though getting there by scooter is a bit more challenging.

I absolutely adore this place—it feels just like my hometown in the province, calm, quiet, and utterly relaxing. I have no complaints; I love it.
