“Fantastic break with our dog in idyllic surroundings .”
The spot is gorgeous, a perfect launchpad for endless strolls, and the staff were fantastic with hearty breakfasts that even welcomed our dogs. Unfortunately, we ended up eating at the nearby pub in the evening because its traditional, warm vibe and great food outshone our hotel’s dining room, which felt bland, a touch chilly, and too brightly lit, making it feel unwelcoming and oddly quiet. We did enjoy the food the first night, though.
