The Superior Double Room has a private bathroom with a toilet, hairdryer, shower, and free toiletries. This room is equipped with a fan, heating, tea/coffee maker, electric kettle, refrigerator, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, as well as a desk, iron, wardrobe or closet, and a safety deposit box. It sleeps 2 guests and includes a carbon monoxide detector and hand sanitiser.

The accommodation was conveniently close to the station, which I liked, and although the room was smaller than expected it was still comfortable enough. The downside is the typical narrow, steep Dutch staircases, especially the very steep stairs on the first floor, and the lack of an elevator makes heavy luggage a real hassle; the fridge is wall‑mounted and tiny.

The location and cleanliness are fine. There’s no reception, no elevator, and the staircase is very narrow and steep, which is prohibitive for anyone over 50. The windows don’t open, so the room doesn’t ventilate.

The location and modern style are good. In the shower, water pooled around my feet and didn’t drain, spilling over the door; the next person had to wait at least 20 minutes for the water to clear. The drain needs a thorough cleaning.
