“Gute Lage, aber für das was geboten wurde zu teuer.”
The central location and modernised room were positives, but the front desk immediately tried to upsell a higher‑class room (which was extremely annoying) and then forgot to explain how to use the elevator. The room had windows with shutters that wouldn’t open, and the air‑conditioning barely worked. I expected the room to be cleaned between stays and the rubbish removed, but that never happened. The minibar existed but was empty. The sauna and gym were technically available, but the restricted opening hours made them unusable, supposedly because of construction. The construction noise also seeped into the rooms. For breakfast, you first had to find a spot because almost all seats were taken, then you’d wait a long time in the narrow lanes before the buffet, which didn’t fit the number of people. Parking was a gamble – the hotel offered none, so you had to try your luck on the street, which was expensive.
