“Staff & breakfast lovely. Bed and tv for the money were shocking.”
The food and staff were excellent, but the mattress was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on, giving me two terrible nights of sleep, and the TV was brutal with only Irish channels in 2026.
“Comfortable accommodation in a superb setting”
The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful, and there was nothing negative to mention.
“Loved location but would not come back after our experience with the unsupervised kids running”
Breakfast and the location were great—perfect for a couple—but it was very upsetting to have young children running and yelling through the evening until after midnight down the halls while we were trying to sleep; in the lobby the children (who were unsupervised) were loud and begging for food from us and once again running and playing in the elevator and on the rolling luggage rack… very disappointing!
The historic building was lovely, but the bed felt a bit hard for me.
The rooms were very comfortable, spacious, and spotless, the staff were extremely helpful, and the restaurant food was great!
