The room is good. The balcony is great. The TV didn't work and there was no phone in the room.
I liked the value for money and the partnership they have with another hotel to provide parking. I didn't like the comfort of the beds and having to choose whether to leave the TV or the minibar plugged in.
The hotel is old, needs repairs, and there is no breakfast.
Just a receptionist who is friendly. Everything was terrible, bad smell in the room.

I spent my stay at Hotel Americano and I really like the place. It’s close to Sapucai, the Sahara and other tourist spots like Marina da Glória and Museu do amanhã, and I love the city center of Rio. Lapa is my favorite spot in Rio. The staff at the hotel are wonderful, the rooms are great, and the price is good for such a sought‑after area. The hotel feels more like a home than a hotel, and I love staying there 🙏🫶🙌🥰. The only downside is that almost none of the safes work; otherwise everything is perfect 🙏🫶🙌🥰🌹
