One of the most charming guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at, with almost endless options for social activities and the largest collection of board games I’ve ever seen at any accommodation. My schedule only allowed me one night before moving on; I would have loved to stay longer and try some of the board games with a group.

A very comfortable environment, and the owner was friendly. With all the games, manga, and board games available, the setting was very enjoyable. The only downside was that parking a station wagon seemed a bit tricky.

There were plenty of games, the beds and rooms were all clean and tidy, and the cooking utensils were spotless.

The building was lovely, there were many things to play with, and both the owner and the other guests were nice people.

I stayed for about a week and just wanted to chill all the time! The place is huge, with a free space full of the owner’s board games and a ton of Pokémon plushies, plus comics and a desk area for work. The sofas are plenty and comfy, so you can just relax. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, which was great. The surroundings are rural and quiet, but there’s a well-stocked supermarket within walking distance, giving it a laid‑back vibe. The hot spring is about a 10‑minute drive away; I couldn’t get there, but there are several stylish, farmer‑market‑style cafés nearby that focus on veggies. I love rain frogs, and on a rainy day there were a bunch of them in front of the entrance, so it was fun to watch. It seems many families with kids stay here, and that’s reassuring. The road is narrow and I’m not used to driving here, so parking was tough; I had to ask the owner each time, but I’ll get used to it. The bathroom is outside (kept dry) and the guest room is on the second floor, so people who need to go frequently might find it inconvenient.
