“A New England foliage gem close to Olde Sturbridge Village”
We attended a Halloween event at OIde Sturbridge Village with our family; as members of the Village we usually book the Publick House, but this time we stayed at the Inn, which hosted several events at once, including weddings, bridal showers, and bus tours. There was a line when I got to check‑in, yet the reception staff handled everyone quickly and efficiently. A room in New England in the fall in such a prime spot was a great value. Across the street was a charming farmer’s market. The only gripe was the vending machines: they don’t take cards and barely take cash, and my soda came out warm and flat. The machines are old and inefficient, so a new vendor would help, though that doesn’t affect the Inn’s quality. I told the staff, who responded politely and said management would be informed.
