The Soul Istanbul Hotel

The location and staff were super attentive at all times, breakfast and coffee were very good, the room and sheets were very nice, and the amenities were also good. The hotel is very central but on a somewhat narrow street with traffic – if you need to go to the airport, you must book a taxi far in advance! The elevator doesn’t reach all floors and my room was in a slightly uncomfortable spot – but the staff helped me with my luggage all the time. The view from my room was interior.

The hotel is close to the center, the staff is friendly, the breakfasts are good, and the room is modern. The street next to it is noisy and congested, and the mattresses are soft.

Breakfast was very good, our room was very nice, and the bar attached to the hotel (which I think is part of the hotel) was fun. It’s small, but the bartender was very friendly and full of information when we asked about where to go, how to get there, and what to do. The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful when we tried to figure out transportation to places we needed to go and didn’t offer to help us get the transportation we needed. We asked questions about other things at other times and he was not much help for those either. I had much different conversations while messaging with them when we were planning the trip and thought they would help us more. The breakfast area is very small and with a group of 10 people we couldn’t all eat together at the same time because there weren’t enough tables for that.

“Great boutique style hotel”

The boutique‑style hotel is nice, the room is clean and a good size. Cleaning is inconsistent; the cleaners removed bathrobes at some point and never returned them, soap wasn’t refilled when needed, and on a few occasions coffee capsules weren’t restocked.
