The cooler weather around 1000 m during the summer heatwave was refreshing, and hiking around the area was excellent. The accommodation was clean, well‑equipped, and had a usable kitchen, plus a pleasant entrance terrace. Bonus: they spoke Hungarian. The house is close to the road, so at dawn the noise from passing cars intrudes, and the fridge was completely empty, which didn’t bother us but is good to know. Unfortunately, the mice had climbed under the floorboards.

Breakfast for two was great; on request we were given fresh boxes that waited in the fridge each day. The only thing missing was coffee.

We had a very pleasant stay here! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel at home right from the start. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful, and fresh, with something for everyone. The rooms were very clean, organized, and spacious, showing that a lot of attention is paid to details and guest comfort. Extra credit for the parking, which was directly next to the building, making arrivals and departures very convenient. Overall, we can only recommend it and look forward to returning in the future! 😊
