Sondra was an amazing host who kept in touch the whole time, letting us know exactly what to expect; the breakfast was fantastic, and we stayed with her at the start and end of our Alaska trip, where she shared useful Alaska tips that made our visit memorable, so if we ever return to Anchorage, we’ll book with her again.

Getting in and out was easy, the breakfast arrived on time and was wonderful, and the host was ready to provide anything we needed; nothing is perfect, but she’s working hard to make it just right for everyone.

We stayed in the Denali room, which has its own bathroom, and it felt like a real B&B: the owner Sondra stocked the room with healthy snacks, water, coffee, tea, and more; when I had a fever one night, she offered herbal teas, honey, and changed the sheets for our comfort; she’s a chef herself and the breakfast she made was simply delicious, so we felt pampered and she considered every little detail, making our time at her place exceptionally pleasant—no better place to stay in Anchorage.

We stayed here three times during our Alaskan travels—upon arrival, after a few days in Denali, and before heading to Palmer—and this Bed and Breakfast is very convenient and centrally located with stylish, quiet, and comfortable rooms that have full amenities; the host provides full service, enormous healthy and delicious breakfasts, is extremely knowledgeable with plenty of tips and suggestions, and is very friendly and accommodating—absolute 5‑Star service.

The place was very clean and comfortable, Sondra was amazing, and her breakfast was also amazing; the only downside was the distance since I didn’t have a car, but Uber was quick and easy, and apparently there’s an easy bus into downtown.
