The place is close to Tanah Rata town, but the room didn’t match what I expected: it had a damp smell and the bedsheets were dirty, and there was no staff around to help or respond in an emergency.

The hotel sits away from the main road, which is great because most other places face the busy street and get noisy; this one is near a mosque so you can hear early‑morning prayers, but otherwise the night is quiet. It’s decent for the price.
