The home was stunningly beautiful, with a serene and all‑encompassing atmosphere. Ms. Yolonda was incredibly kind—she’s a genuinely God‑fearing woman who loves the Lord. I chose to stay there after losing my sister the week before, and the Serenity House was very near her funeral. Ms. Yolonda is truly a good person; I love her. The house sits next to the main house, feels cozy and comfortable, and there’s a charming little gazebo with a wicker patio set where you can relax and take in the view. A pond, birds, and sometimes a gator or two rest by the banks—an absolutely beautiful spot for any occasion. I highly recommend it to grown adults; young people should be respectful of Ms. Yolonda and her home, avoiding noise and mishaps. My granddaughter met Ms. Yolonda’s granddaughter and they hit it off, so she keeps asking when she can have a play date with her “new best friend.” Aside from my loss, it was a lovely, beautiful place, and I absolutely loved it. If you need a quiet spot, Serenity House in Laplace is the place to go. 😍
