I was staying for a wedding in Newburyport, so the spot was spot‑on. The free breakfast buffet had a decent spread and plenty of seating. However, after dropping our bags and rushing to the rehearsal dinner, we discovered the hotel door lock was broken and had to leave the room unlocked; the front desk promised to fix it but a text later said it couldn’t be repaired. We had to repack and change rooms after 10 pm when we returned. The bathroom’s barn door offered no privacy, and overall the place felt way overpriced for what it delivered; I wouldn’t pay more than $400 a night for this hotel.

The room was clean and quiet, and I liked the gym. Breakfast fell short—fresh fruit was stale and the overall quality was low.

The room was fantastic, especially the spacious bathroom. I especially enjoyed the lounger in the room. We’ll definitely come back!
