“Goed verblijf op een mooie locatie zonder”
Nice location, spacious rooms, and good beds. The shower area is a bit cramped. The restaurant feels more like a dining hall; try to decorate the space to create more atmosphere.

Located in Cochem's historic Old Town, Hotel Karl Müller offers river views of the Moselle River. This family-run hotel features well-equipped rooms with satellite TV, minibar, and modern bathroom. The Balduinstuben Restaurant serves traditional German cuisine on its scenic terrace. Close proximity to Medieval Reichsburg Cochem Castle (700 meters) and daily breakfast buffet make it an ideal choice for travelers.

The location of the house is great—direct view of the Moselle and mostly very friendly staff. If you’re happy with an 80 cm towel rack for four towels, you’re in the right place! There’s no towel rack at the sink. There’s no staffed reception; self‑check‑in is the norm, even for the mostly older guests. The room was cleaned every two days, but contrary to the guest’s wish, the towels and bed linen were also changed. No environmentally friendly practices. Even though it was booked well in advance, about two weeks before the trip a staff member called on a Sunday afternoon and uncompromisingly announced that we would have to sleep on the first night in the attic! This was revised the next day. For €1,450 with breakfast for 6 nights, I had high expectations that were not met.

The location was fantastic, offering either a view of the Mosel or a view of the old town.

The sauna with castle and city view is the best; you need to book it, but then it’s private and relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast offers a variety of cold and hot buffet items. Parking isn’t available after paying for a non‑cancelable booking, but you can park on the street on the other side of the Mosel for 3€/24 h if you don’t mind walking across the bridge with wonderful river views several times. The room is a bit smaller than the photos and has only one window without a castle view. The photo shown in the booking should be the only one at the corner. The bathroom is clean, but the shower space is too small for a 180 cm tall man.

The location is very good, with a view of the Mosel. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations.
