I liked the motel’s location in the Kenton area of Portland, but the neighborhood was terrible. While I was there, some homeless people caused physical damage to the motel right outside my room, tearing off the outside water faucet from the side of the building and causing a massive gush of water all over the site, which wasn’t addressed until 24 hours or more later. I worried about the safety of the parking area for both me and my car. Why doesn’t this motel have a security guard to keep the homeless off the premises?

The hotel itself is fine and the check‑out staff were friendly, but the staff present at check‑in were not very nice and awkward.

Friends staff. Comfortable beds. Decent breakfast. Yummy cookies. The carpets in the rooms REALLY need to be cleaned. I set notice hallways. I chose not to be barefoot in the room
