“It was fantastic and loved it”
The staff were friendly and the property stayed spotless, so I couldn't find anything to complain about.
“Stay only if desperate”
It’s close to Park Street and the metro station, but the place is really just a 3‑bedroom flat turned into a hostel by stuffing bunk beds into each room.
I found it expensive compared to others and it offered no amenities.
The hotel sits right in a prime spot, with Victoria Memorial, St Cathedrals, the Indian Museum, and several art museums all within walking distance, and New Market is just around the corner. I stayed for 6 nights, but the male housekeeping staff would not knock on the door and would enter the female dorm at 9 am to clean while I was still asleep; after I scolded him, he only knocked the next day, and the daily 9 am cleaning kept disturbing my sleep. They should wait until after the check‑out time of 11 am to clean.
The place is excellent to stay; the staff are very friendly and helpful, and I felt safe there. The location is also very posh and good. It’s a must‑stay in Kolkata.
