A good hotel to visit Tashkent, but the promised take‑away breakfast on the morning of our departure (we left half an hour before breakfast time) was never provided; nobody at reception knew about it, which was a pity.

I had stayed at this hotel before and liked it, so I chose it again, but this time it was a big disappointment. First, there was no toothbrush in the room; when we asked for one, they said “Sure, we’ll bring it,” but never did. Later at reception they told us there were no toothbrushes in the hotel at all. The biggest issue was before check‑out: before 12:00, the door to our room was knocked on three times and the phone rang several times reminding us to leave. I had already left the room that morning, but my wife stayed until 12:00. Because of the repeated knocks and calls, she was very scared. We knew the check‑out time was 12:00, so I think it was completely wrong to bother guests multiple times before the scheduled check‑out. It was especially unpleasant to experience this attitude at a hotel I had stayed at before and liked. This time we were disappointed, and the staff should be more attentive and respectful to guests.

The renovation was decent, with light‑colored walls, calm tones, and a pleasant interior; my room had a proper large desk instead of a tiny shelf marketed as a workspace. The hotel is tucked away in a quieter residential area, away from busy streets, yet the airport is not far, making it convenient for a stay before or after a flight. Daily housekeeping cleaned my room each day, which was good, though I still had a few questions about the final result. I found brown stains on freshly made bed linen, which is a significant issue because cleanliness should come first. The shower area looked worn, with rust on some metal parts and untidy joints at the bottom, which contrasted sharply with the otherwise fresh renovation. The king‑size bed was actually two smaller beds pushed together with separate mattresses; I prefer a single mattress and would recommend asking how the bed is configured before booking if that matters to you. The Wi‑Fi was very slow, so if you need to work, bring a backup connection. The reception staff seemed disengaged, and after housekeeping the drinking water wasn’t replaced, which, while not huge, added to the feeling that everyday details could use more attention.

I had stayed at this hotel before and liked it, so I booked again, but this time the experience was a huge letdown. The room had no toothbrush, and when we asked for one the staff said “Sure, we’ll bring it” but never did. Later at reception they admitted the hotel simply has no toothbrushes. The biggest frustration was the departure time. Three times the door was knocked and the phone rang repeatedly reminding us to leave before 12:00. I had already checked out in the morning, but my wife stayed until noon and was terrified by the constant knocking. We knew the checkout time was 12:00, so it was completely wrong to bother guests so many times before that. It was especially unpleasant coming from a hotel I’d stayed at before and liked. The staff should be more attentive and respectful.
