The décor and comfort level were great – the bed, linens and bathroom items were all high‑quality and made the stay pleasant. The room itself felt a bit improvised, with no storage furniture, an under‑powered air‑con that left the space warm, and a sunrise‑blinds issue that flooded the bed with light each morning.

The room was gorgeous – a comfortable space with a terrace, fireplace and a huge bathroom that offered both a tub and a double shower, and the owners even catered to my special meal request. The downside was that it turned out to be a family home rather than a proper hotel, so the whole experience felt more like an Airbnb, and the advertised horseback riding and nearby pool were nowhere to be found, with no trails or directions provided.

The facilities are brand‑new and really comfortable, and the staff are genuinely attentive throughout the stay. The only thing missing is a handful of on‑site activities at the main building, though I didn’t mind because I spent most of my time exploring the attractions around Bananal.
