The area was beautiful and the fireplace inside was nice. They did a lot of washing for me and even hung it under the verandah because it was raining, which I really appreciated. Spider webs were on the little high‑level window in our room, and the sign at the entrance was too small and hidden behind plants.

We loved the location even though it was far out on a gravel road. It was peaceful and quiet, exactly what we needed. It was also next to the river, and the canoes and swings were great. We had a lot of fun. The indoor fireplace was a highlight, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The stoep were also great. We also liked that extra firewood could be bought. The headboard in one room was loose from the wall and bothered us when we turned around in bed. The personal photos were there. Just remember to bring your own drinking water and ice.

Staying by the river in this beautifully designed holiday house was a delight; it was very comfortable, fully equipped, and the spacious grounds gave off a relaxed summer vibe.

The place sits right next to the river and even has its own jetty; the expansive lawns were perfect for the kids to run around, the rooms were spotless, and the owners’ care shows in the well‑stocked kitchen with all the cutlery, crockery, and utensils, the high‑quality linen, and the assortment of board games.
