Hotel Antico Furlo is a historic inn; the rooms in retro style and furnishings take you back with taste and charm. It’s near the Furlo Gorge and the Roman Gallery. The Marche cuisine is excellent: tagliatelle, cappelletti, passatelli, and dishes based on fresh truffle. The atmosphere is rustic yet elegant. Breakfast, both savory and sweet, is great, with homemade cakes. Everything is served fresh at the table by Mrs. Roberta.

The old‑world charm of this place is beautiful. The proprietor Roberts, the front‑of‑house lady and chef during our stay, was a fantastic host. The food and wine were second to none (homemade pasta) – divine. I bought many pairs of shoes as recommended.

The breakfast had good quality products, and the historic building feels well maintained. However, the room I received differed from the photos on the website; the pictures look more spacious and tidy, and the shower in the bathroom is quite small.
