“Felt like staying with family. The rooms were clean, meals were authentic homemade. We will be back!”

Our family adored the small bunk bed in the room, which gave us extra space for the kids; the room itself was modern and spotless, the staff were wonderful, and the on‑site restaurant served delicious homemade traditional dishes—nothing fancy, but perfect for wrapping up a day in the Black Forest; we felt like staying with family, and I truly believe this hidden gem deserves to be discovered.

“Weiterempfehlung”

The hotel had been renovated, the rooms were very nice and the staff were friendly, but there were no parking spaces right at the property; only public parking spots about 200 m away were available.

“Voldoende”

The garden restaurant was a treat, but we booked a room with air‑conditioning and were taken to a room that had no AC on a 35 °C day; after insisting that we had indeed booked an AC room, it turned out there was one available but still unfinished, so we eventually got a suitable room—though it felt untidy to try to place us in a cheaper room. Aside from that, it was a fine stopover on our journey.
