The resort is stunning, the cabins are cozy, spotless, and private. The trails on the property are excellent with clear signage, and the chocolate tour is fantastic; the owners are a delight to interact with. The road to the resort is awful (once you’re there it’s fine). It would help to have a high‑clearance vehicle and to arrive during daylight.

A peaceful location immersed in nature, with a well‑suited cocoa tour for kids; however, we only had two dinner options over three nights and the drive to the Rincon National Park entrance took about 1.5 hours.

We booked the new Deluxe Double room and got a front‑row cottage. It’s very close to nature, better than many national parks, and the host was extremely helpful. The breakfasts and dinners could use improvement. The drive is long and rough, full of potholes; a good all‑wheel‑drive vehicle is essential. Getting to the national park takes a straight 90 minutes.

The natural setting and the facilities were great, and the owner and staff were supportive. My daughter and I felt very comfortable. Thank you! It was a bit far, but the hotel’s recommended taxi transfers solved that issue.
