The host was very friendly, pleasant, and gave good advice. The house was quiet, the bedroom was huge, clean, and well‑furnished. Breakfast was homemade with many options, and the value for money was good. It was a shame there was no nearby restaurant.

The kindness and dedication of our hostess Huguette, the welcoming room and very comfortable bed, and the close proximity to the marine museum—an essential moment of discovery and emotion—make this a place we recommend.

The house was perfect, having once been the family home of the famous Saint‑Lawrence River navigator Captain Desgagnés. Every room is cozy and charming, the hosts are friendly, and they serve a breakfast that will get you started for the day.

The place was just great—everything was spot‑on and I really couldn’t think of anything to complain about. Would definitely book again.

Location couldn’t be better, and the breakfast was solid. Staff greeted us warmly, which set a nice tone. Only downside was the pillows; they were pretty uncomfortable.
