The room was spacious and the staff spoke French. The hotel is very far from the city centre, a 20‑minute train ride but only one train per hour! The hotel restaurant/bar is closed, there’s no hot‑drink dispenser, and the shower tap is stuck to the wall.

The staff were lovely and friendly, the place was very clean, and the location was convenient for both the beach and the airport, though getting into town takes a 20‑minute bus ride.

Perfect location to explore Amalfi coast and Capri, and Sorrento. Lots of excellent food nearby
