“We will not be returning”

I was shocked by the other reviews because this place definitely doesn't deserve an 8+ rating in my view. We won't return. The bed felt like a hard block of wood; the springs had long since failed. It made sleeping impossible. The room was dirty, and I noticed only a couple of cleaners, which explains the mess. They also applied a polish to every surface, leaving a sticky film. Overall, everything in the room looked worn and second‑hand—it's time for a renovation.

“Great service thank you Sumit and team.”

The accommodation sits in a fantastic spot, just 300 meters from a lovely public green belt that includes a kiosk, a bird aviary, and more.

“10/10 would stay here again next time I’m in Palmerston North”

The spa bath and the complimentary cookies at check‑in were great. Nothing else was wrong; everything was perfect.
