The property was modern with attention to detail. The food was great and the game drive was one of the best. I realise luck is involved but we had a fabulous Ranger. Great close to Joburg. Will definitely be back. Nothing!

The hosts are genuinely kind. However, the rooms shown in the photos don’t match what you actually receive. The overall service is very poor—no bob fire, no background music, no ice for drinks at 6 pm, no full bar, no Amarula coffee on game drives. The food is shocking—no choices, no menus—and the owner should be ashamed of the almost zero budget for food; it feels defrauded.

It is an incredibly beautiful location for the lodge, the all‑round care by all staff was excellent, the freshly and creatively prepared meals were superb, and each game drive was a new adventure. Thank you, and I would gladly return. Recommendation: stay longer than one night – it’s definitely worth it to enjoy everything.

The place was flawless, every detail executed beautifully. The room layout was perfect, all amenities modern and pristine, and the service was a solid 10/10. Tanya and Choert were amazing, keeping us fed, warm, and spotting plenty of wildlife—ideal for Big5 and game drive lovers.
