The hotel sits directly on the beach, but aggressive salespeople won't leave you alone as soon as you step onto the shore. Breakfast and dinner were both disappointing and pricey; we were served rotten papaya and pineapple at breakfast, and the staff grew annoyed when we asked for fresh papaya instead. The staff failed to remove the relentless salespeople, preventing our daughter from playing on the beach in front of the hotel. We checked out a day early and had paid for the entire stay upfront, so we received no refund.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the beach and in the heart of the city. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of fruit juice, but I was disappointed to find that it wasn't freshly squeezed. The limited options for dinner were also a bit of a letdown.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's proximity to the airport, which made my arrival and departure a breeze. The staff, particularly Kevin at the front desk, were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, going out of their way to accommodate my vegan and vegetarian dietary requests. The air-conditioned rooms were a welcome relief from the tropical heat, and the beautifully landscaped gardens added to the hotel's charm.

We were blown away by the hotel's beautiful location on the beach and in the city, as well as its stunning garden with two excellent pools. We were even upgraded to a spacious apartment with breathtaking views of the beach and sea, complete with electricity and hot water. The sunset views were simply stunning. However, we were disappointed to find that it wasn't possible to relax on the beach due to the number of vendors, and the food options were extremely limited, especially for breakfast.
