“Lively base for exploring the beautiful countryside and towns.”
Beautiful location close to the main road and good pubs. The landlady was lovely and the breakfast superb! It’s a shame the pub is no longer open, but I fully understand the reasoning. The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean. Nothing to dislike really!

The location was perfect for a business meeting at Chatsworth House. The room was clean with ample supplies of tea, milk, sugar, etc. Breakfast was earlier than usual and accommodated for us. It was quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately the pub is closed.
Lovely staff, nice room and the breakfast was great. The pub grounds were lovely for a drink in the evening. Real shame that the pub is closed as a pub as it's such a lovely location but whoever picks it up will have a great location

I stayed in a tiny village with a large on‑site carpark, and the host was lovely. The breakfast was excellent, and it was the perfect spot for hillwalking or cycling.
