Everything was fine overall, except for the issues listed below. The listing didn’t make it clear that there was no bathroom, only a toilet. Showering in the cold communal shower was unpleasant.

The location is decent, but everything else turned out really bad. Service was poor. I ordered rolls of bread that were expensive and dry, probably from the previous day. The advertised breakfast couldn’t be booked at all! The TV didn’t work, especially on rainy days. There was only one towel per person for the entire week. Essential items were missing. Only three coat hooks were available, and there was no way to hang or dry clothes. Shelves were insufficient. No light at the dining table, so it was very dark while eating. There was little cutlery, dull peeling knives… Cleanliness was subpar. The toilet in the beach house was dirty upon arrival. Toilet paper in the communal washroom wasn’t refilled from Tuesday to Friday. The shower in the communal washroom wasn’t cleaned from Tuesday to Friday; there were two black hairs in the same spot every day. The shower was poorly set up, and everything got wet.

Very friendly people, the accommodation was in excellent condition, the restaurant was great, the spot was right behind the dyke by the sea, entertainment options were offered, and the crowd was very mixed (mostly German). The stay could use a small upgrade (perhaps more storage or entertainment like games, books for bad weather days), but it’s not absolutely necessary.

The house’s location was good, the bathrooms were only 30 m away, and the house’s furnishings were functional. The available dining options could be better utilized.
