It was very quiet and comfortable. Because it’s a bit far from Upper Takachiho, it wasn’t crowded. The staff were truly courteous and bright, making me feel great. I also liked that the hot spring was open at any time.

The location was wonderful and the staff was more than great. My wife doesn’t eat fish, and they cooked her a special meal. The food was very delicious, they made every table a course of a special Japanese-based dish. A very nice experience.

You might think the hotel is in Kamikoj, but traveling to Kamikoj requires a bus, which isn’t that hard because the hotel is close to the bus stop—just about 20 meters away. I bought a dinner and breakfast package, and the food was tasty and good value.

The meals were plentiful. Iwana, hot pot, and even the details were thoughtfully handled. After the meal, I wish they’d offer coffee or roasted tea. If it’s under 20,000 yen, I can understand, but the room feels like a business hotel for the price. The view is almost zero, and I’d like them to consider better bedding—maybe Muatsu futon or Airweave.

If possible, it would be great to be able to go outside after 21:00. I wanted to see the starry sky, but the exit was not smooth, so I gave up.
